Belize Campus
Located 10 miles north of the airport, our Belize Central America mission campus is in a peaceful village on the edge of the Belizen jungle. In contrast to most web based missions organizations, we are in-country missionaries residing on ministry owned property. Our guests have the safety of DCI staff living year round on our gated campus.
Campus accommodations are diverse. They vary from appointed private family rooms to large airy dorm rooms perfect for student mission trips. Each campus building has a common area that includes a kitchen with a refrigerator and use of a microwave to warm up food. Free coffee is available daily and there is a campus store where snacks are sold.
The local police station is located on the same village street and the medical clinic is just 5 minutes south. To the north within walking distance is a village market and to the south you can jog to the Belize River where monkeys jump tree to tree.
On many of the walking trails to the east, our missionary partners often see wild parrots flying overhead, iguanas sunning on rocks or they often choose to pick coconuts to bring back to campus where a staff member will open them for their enjoyment.
Each day our missionary teams depart to conduct mission projects for inner city and village children. Being located directly on the Central American highway means only a short drive to the DCI Guatemala outreach site or being only minutes away from the local water taxis. This immediate access allows us to conduct crucial Caribbean island projects.
Great leadership mixed with expert knowledge of the local attractions allows your team leaders to provide incredibly exciting excursions for the mission trip “free” day.
